Game of Thrones season 8 is all set to go on air in mid-April 2019 and fans are definitely due for a full-blown trailer, and now, reports suggest that the first official trailer for the most awaited series may arrive this weekend. As per reports, HBO can repeat the Super Bowl strategy that they had used last year. So far we have seen just a few seconds of the new footage which was released a day back. And the news of a proper trailer to air during Sunday’s big game has made many fans super excited.

Inverse.com reports that HBO has a long history of dropping huge trailers during mega-events. In 2018, they dropped Westworld Season 2 trailer during the game. Also, last year, we got a trailer for Avengers: Infinity War. There is no official confirmation that HBO will release the trailer during the Super Bowl. But there were reports that Disney has already booked their ad slots and Sony and Warner Bros. are skipping to air any teaser or trailers.

Talking about the Super Bowl, the same will air on CBS on Sunday, February 3. Many speculations over what movie trailers we could see during the game are doing rounds. Some reports suggest that we will get to see footages of following movies Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel, Lucasfilm, Toy Story 4 and Stranger Things 3 among others.

Talking about GOT, the series will start off on April 14. “The last season of ‘Thrones’ seemed to be designed to break us. Everyone was broken at the end. I don’t know if we were crying because we were sad it was ending or if we were crying because it was so f**king tiring. We were sleep deprived. It was like it was designed to make you think, ‘Right, I’m f**king sick of this'”, Kit Harrington told GQ.

Maisie Williams Says No One Will Be Satisfied With ‘Game of Thrones’ Ending

Game Of Thrones star Maisie Williams has revealed “no one will be satisfied” with the show’s ending.

The 21-year-old actress has played Arya Stark in the hit HBO fantasy series since it began in 2011.

The show returns for its eighth and final season in April, but Williams thinks the ending will leave some dissatisfied.

Speaking to Sky News, she said: “I don’t think no one is going to be satisfied [when it ends].

“I don’t think anyone wants it to end but I’m really proud of this final season.”

The Sun reports that having grown up on the show, Williams added how bizarre it was going to be when the series came to an end.

She added: “It’s going to be really weird when it’s done and every day it’s a step closer to it not being a part of my life anymore.”

Her comments come after her co-star Emilia Clarke — who plays Daenerys Targaryen — revealed how hard the end of the series had hit her.

She said: “It’s over and I cried like a baby on the last day. I felt completely lost.

“Ten years is a long time. It’s like losing an actual limb.

“I was 22 — a child — when I first walked on the Game of Thrones set. I grew up with her.”
